Totally stealing this idea from [livejournal.com profile] cho_malfoy, because it is a brilliant one and I love music recs ♥ (and holy crap, am I out of practice with review writing. Book reports used to be so easy too lol)

- Breathe Into Me by Red - Christian rock without being preachy (or I was just completely oblivious over the years). Either way, was reminded of this song when Crush brought his iPod into work the other day, and I've found the whole album (End of Silence) to be quite theraputic and energizing.

- Two Rabbits by Califia - Not the best video, but I can't be too picky with local bands :p They've changed it up too, trying to blend the older songs like this with their newer stuff, and based on the show, it's a really good mix. Like he says, it's a song about bad choices, and it even has a lovely stoner zen-ness with the chorus ♥

- Fuck Everything by Jon Lajoie - [livejournal.com profile] cecilylee introduced me to this video, and I can't thank her enough for that. It's a silly angry song that I blast on my way to work to help me keep things in perspective.

- Possession by Evans Blue - A cover of Sarah McLachlan's song. It's not quite a rock ballad, too heavy in some places, with the lyrics taking on somewhat of a more ominious undertone that I love. Not sure about the rest of their stuff yet though. (And I saw that Smile Empty Soul covered Possession as well, but not even remotely as good as this one. In case you're wondering.)
