lskdfdsf UGH i need to talk to you on im to fully get across how dlfkdlsf WELL KEYBOARD SMASH this is really impressive
i teared up i love you described tessa just because it's so accurate to how she behaves throughout the series (and tessa is one of my favorites) it's one of those stories i can actually see happening and interweaves canon and fanon and just makes it REAL and ugh you know how hard this episode was for me and if anything this just makes it harder, just knowing that they DID have to deal with reapers and jo did have to see her mom get killed and this fic just captures everything that was so heartbreaking about the episode
the way she tastes like waxy raspberry lip gloss somehow, rather than the burning smell of paint and bones and lawn furniture, how the ashes keep catching in her eyelashes and nose, sticking on her tongue like snowflakes. and this, this is so so heartbreaking and really drives home jo's kiss and her death
i kind of love that they do kiss in that most of the human/nonhuman kisses in this series are between humans and demons making a deal of death and this is again a kiss of death (quite literally) but ....somehow so much more and ugh
sorry i really can't articulate why i love this so much but i tried
