Apr. 23rd, 2011 01:15 amAudio's distorted somewhat, but it captures the concert energy perfectly ♥♥
( more Mumford youtube epicness thisaway )
Their second album needs to be out now please :D
(and ugh, it feels like I fucked up my hand more than normal, since it still aches and hurts, especially when I'm on the computer or handwriting something :/ fingers crossed it goes away quickly, with no lasting issues. but I may end up hiding from the internet/computer usage in an attempt to get it to heal faster. Stupid lack of health care)

This feels so dorky to write, but there are no words that can accurately describe the concert tonight (there are potential typos though, and if so, blame them on the brandy :p). And I'm watching the Sharks/Kings game right now, and if it ends up the way I want it to, this will be the most epic of nights ♥
(eta: omg ilu Sharks. So much right now)
( Old Crow Medicine Show, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Mumford & Sons )
And now I'm off to bed, to sleep in my concert t-shirt and cling tight to what just happened, and to dream of kettle corn and flaming snails and steam engines.

Apr. 21st, 2011 02:03 amMUMFORD & SONS. IN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS I WILL BE BACK HERE FLAILING OVER THEM ♥___♥ I hope they realize the amount of pressure they're under ♥ I remember how I was first introduced to them, in the backseat of a car with a Dean/Castiel fanmix playing; "Thistle and Weeds" staying strong in my head for hours afterwards.
They're my go-to music, for my glee, for my writing, for my depression (and if I want to escape it or wallow in it, there's a song). They're what I hum to myself when I'm at work, my default setting on repeat. Their lyrics give me hope, comfort, that darkness happens and then there is light, eventually. But there will always be light waiting there for you.
(I've been so good and haven't watched any videos of them live, save for the Grammy's. Because everyone has told me they are epic and even more amazing on stage vs. audio, and I want to save that first-time experience for the concert. MY SPOILER-PHOBIA EXTENDS TO EVERYTHING I SWEAR :p )
I was going to write more, but it's late and I have to get up in ~4 hours and squee and flail at
playthefool when I see her at the asscrack of dawn. But then hopefully will be massive amounts of writing and/or napping, and then the concert <333 I have Friday off as well, and will be tackling comments and fic-writing and email and all of that then.
(also, how do I not have some sort of SPN/Mumford & Sons icon type thing? THEY ARE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER)
